Celebrating 2nd Place in the 2023 Sodexo Employer of the Year Competition

Fatra won the prestigious 2nd place in the 2023 Employer of the Year competition in the category “Employer of the region with up to 5,000 employees in the Zlín Region”.

Fatra, a. s. succeeded in the competition organised by the Employers’ Club and received recognition as an employer in the Zlín region. According to the organiser, this competition has been focusing on companies in the Czech Republic from the perspective of human resources since 2003 and its purpose is to bring people closer to companies with an excellent approach to their employees, not only nationwide, but also in individual regions. The expert patronage was provided by PricewaterhouseCoopers Czech Republic, which carried out an evaluation of the results according to the international PwC Sarotoga methodology on 22 May 2023, and Fatra, a. s. was ranked 2nd in the category of up to 5,000 employees. This position acknowledged and confirmed the long-term work, dedication and care which we provide to our employees.

We are fully aware that satisfied employees are the key to the long-term success of the company, and we strive to improve their working conditions as much as possible.

Traditionally, we are associated with the fact that Fatra is a stable employer in the region, but the award in this competition also brought us recognition that we value and respect our employees. The attention we give them and the care we provide to them are the factors that bring long-term success and strengthen our position as one of the leading companies in the region.

Our company values are “doing the best we can”, “developing ourselves and others” and “caring about the world around us”. And we approach our employees in this spirit. We support their personal and professional development, and we place emphasis on their regular training and participation in other development programmes.

We also take care of their material security in the form of various benefits resulting mainly from the collective agreement, and throughout the year we organise various social activities in which they can participate. And it turned out that this approach has borne its fruits.

At the same time, I would like to thank all the female HR specialists who, through their daily work with employees, have contributed significantly to our placing in the 2023 Employer of the Year competition. We look forward to the next work challenges and will try to defend our position, and ideally improve it, in the coming year.
